C.O.R.E (Citizens Organizing for Resources & Environment)
903-583-9508 Street , Texas 75418 |
Mission Statement Our purpose is . . . • to provide resources that facilitate transition toward sustainable living, • to incubate ideas for local sustainability projects and services, and • to raise awareness of key environmental issues that affect the Texoma region of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Texoma has many assets that draw visitors and new residents to our area — clean air, beauty, agriculture, birds, fishing and hunting, open spaces, and our rural lifestyle. Lake Texoma, Bonham State Park, the Caddo Grasslands, and Lake Fannin are among the places we all enjoy. We want to preserve all these assets for ourselves and for future generations. If any of them is threatened, you can expect CORE to be finding the facts and educating citizens about the problem. CORE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2006. |

The Mothers Project, Inc.
646-519-1076 2753 Broadway #186 New York, N.Y., Other |
This is a global coalition of mothers formed on behalf of children who cannot vote or make public policy. As their advocates and protectors, we support energy sources that do not fill our children’s environment—and thus their bodies—with toxic pollutants. Recognizing that our children’s lives are inextricably bound to the abiding ecology of the planet, we support energy sources that do not threaten the stability of the world’s climate, acidify its oceans, or fill the air with asthma- inducing, cancer-causing fumes. As mothers are the first environments for our children, we mothers support energy sources that do not threaten the inner sanctuaries of pregnancy with chemicals linked to birth defects, preterm birth, and cognitive deficits. |
